I grew up on a farm and oddly didnt begin cooking until my mid-20's...previously believing it was old-fashioned to cook, I began to change my tune with the help of a few friends, Tony Bourdain's book 'Kitchen Confidential' and my general curiosity...so now, here I am, perusing cookbooks for the next delicious dish, scouring thrift stores for the good heavy-duty kitchenwares and meal-sharing with friends...oh, and when anyone acts as though they are too good to cook, I just feel sorry for them.... Cook on my friends...
